A Letter from the Heart of The Bucket List Helper

A Letter from the Heart of The Bucket List Helper

Growing up in Minnesota, I learned early on that a "Bucket List" isn’t just a solo sprint toward a finish line—it’s a communal effort.

In our house, the philosophy of Paul Wellstone wasn't just a quote on a poster; it was the way my mom raised us. She taught us that "we all do better when we all do better" through action, not just words. Whether we were spending our Saturday mornings bagging groceries for Ruby’s Pantry or standing before an Angel Tree at the bank in Hinckley to choose a gift for a neighbor instead of ourselves, she showed us that the greatest joy comes from lifting someone else up.

Now, it’s our turn to lift her.

My mom has been an artist her entire life. She’s the person who stops to marvel at the iridescent wings of a dragonfly and finds the "rainbow" in even the grayest Minnesota winter. When she began her medical journey, we realized that her own bucket list shouldn't have to wait for "someday."

The Bucket List Helper was born to turn her "somedays" into "todays."

Every item in this shop—from the Manet-inspired dragonfly journals to the Wellstone legacy tees—is a piece of her story and a tribute to the values she instilled in us. When you buy a backpack for your next adventure or a mug for your morning reflections, you aren't just a customer; you are the "helper" making her dreams a reality.

Thank you for helping her finish her list, while we help you start yours.

With gratitude,

Jenni López
